No Aloha No Life

Our Mission…

NoAlohaNoLife is a movement created (by Kama’aina born and raised in Hawai’i) to share and spread “Aloha” or “Aloha Spirit” throughout the islands. 

Sadly, many people living in Hawai’i feel that the “Aloha Spirit” of the past has been gradually diminishing every year. 

This grassroots movement hopes to rekindle the true “Aloha Spirit” in all who live in Hawai’i and those who visit our beautiful, unique islands. 

Our mission is to spread Aloha throughout Hawai’i and to the rest of the world.

ALOHA…

“Aloha” is one of the most important and significant words in the Hawaiian language. It has many meanings but at its core, “Aloha” is one of the many great things that makes Hawai’i so beautiful and wonderful.

A few of the many Hawaiian interpretations of “Aloha” are listed below:

A  (“akahai” or kindness, expressed with tenderness.)

L  (“lokahi” or unity, expressed with harmony.)

O  (“‘olu'olu” or agreeable, expressed with pleasantness.)

H  (“ha'aha'a” or humility, expressed with modesty.)

A  (“ahonui” or patience, expressed with perserverance.)

People often associate the word “Aloha” with hello, goodbye or love but it embodies a far deeper meaning. “Aloha” or “Aloha Spirit” in essence, is living in harmony with the people and land around you with kindness, courtesy, humility, tolerance and mutual respect.

Let’s all lead by example and live everyday with Aloha. Let’s all show the world what makes Hawai’i such a beautiful, unique and special place.
